We'll be at The Wool Monty on the 8th & 9th June, taking place in Sheffield. The Wool Monty is a yarn show with a difference, that's accessible, inclusive and welcoming to all crochet and knitting enthusiasts.
The organisers have commited themselves to making the event accessible to those with disabilities or special needs:
- Step-free access with all activities on one level
- Wide aisles with plenty of space for wheelchairs and mobility scooters
- Ample Blue Badge parking
- High ceilings to diffuse noise and quiet rooms away from the main show
- Carer tickets available
- Assistance dogs welcome!
The organisers are also commited to inclusivity:
- Everyone is welcome from all communities, no matter their race, religion or sexuality.
- We want everyone to feel safe so no discrimination will be tolerated.
- Supporting vendors and workshop tutors from marginalised groups.
