Wee Woolly Wonderfuls was born from our founder, Lisa Dobbs wanting to learn how to crochet but finding it difficult. She wanted a kit to help make it easier and when she couldn’t find what she was looking for, decided to create them herself.

The Arthur & Betsy Bunny Crochet Kit was the first one Lisa designed and produced. Aimee the Giraffe wasn't far behind - she was designed to be a mascot of Aim Higher - a local autism charity in the UK.

Our beginners crochet kits are made up of high-quality products to ensure your crochet toys will last for a long time and can also be washed clean (either spot washable or machine washable on a delicate cycle) without them shrinking or stretching. 

CE certified materials ensure safety and quality tools. We also use embroidered features on our amigurumi toys to make them safe for younger children. 

The kit contains: 

  1.  Supersoft yarn in yellow and gold. (Aimee’s friends, Alice and Albert are also available with pink/white and blue/white wool).
  2. 8-page pattern booklet with detailed instructions and pictures
  3. 4-mm Softgrip crochet hook
  4. Wide-eyed needle for sewing
  5. Colourful locking stitch marker and a cute giraffe shaped stitch marker
  6. 70g quality toy stuffing packed in a reusable bag
