This bumper kit contains everything you need to make the magical characters Splish, Splash, Puddles, Moon and Star, which are based on a brand-new children's book. Buy the storybook (available online and in selected stores), 'What a Little Star' by Eva Le Bon, and be amazed as the characters come to life straight from the pages of the book! Perfect as stand-alone creations too, they are gorgeous characters that will make you smile!
Your Splish, Splash, Puddles, Moon and Star kit contains:
- Over 300g of yarn to make all five characters
- A 4mm soft-grip crochet hook (you can opt not to receive a crochet hook for a reduced price)
- A unique star stitch marker
- A colourful plastic locking stitch marker
- A fun, cute pair of gold wire spectacles
- 90g quality toy stuffing in a pretty white organza bag
- A wide-eyed needle
- A printed 16-page pattern booklet, with detailed instructions and photos. The pattern is written in UK crochet terms, in English
- All packaged in a reusable 100% cotton Wee Woolly Wonderfuls Project Bag
The book is available online and from selected retail stores, but is not included with the kit. This kit is produced under license from Eva Le Bon. Splish and Splash the Ducks are 23cm tall, Puddles is 13cm, Star is 12cm and Moon is 15cm tall.
This kit is suitable for someone who can already crochet. If you are new to crochet, we recommend learning first with one of our complete beginner kits. Our range of crochet kits for beginners includes giraffes, elephants and bears (with guided video tutorials).
The wool used in the kit is a quality supersoft yarn, made from 100% acrylic. This kit is suitable for a Vegan. The toy can be spot cleaned, or machine washed if needed on a low temperature, then reshaped whilst damp. We use a hook several sizes smaller than the wool ball band suggests, to ensure the stuffing is not visible through the stitches.

What a Little Star characters. 5 stars
I have had such fun making them...they are so quirky!! I thought about each in the making. Really excited having the clothes to make...I'm going to make some red ones for christmas-maybe dungarees for Puddles too.
I just loved the way everything is included and now we are going into libraries and schools It's so cute to watch the children's faces light up as they wave and waddle them about as the story is read. Isn't this real story making?
I wonder who will be finding a Splish in their stocking. I don't know how to do it but I'd like to post the latest reel under here of them popping from the story.

Will normally be pleased with WWW kits but a ball of white Stylecraft chunky yarn had no less than 7 knots in it. The quality of Stylecraft yarn seems very poor nowadays
This was another excellent CAL from Wee Woolly Wonderfuls. Instructions are easy to follow and I always love that you get plenty of yarn and stuffing. Though the most important thing are of course the cute animals! :)
This is a fantastic kit, as are all the kits from Wee Woolly Wonderfuls. Lisa is always on hand to help if needed, I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend!
