Our brand Christmas design for 2023 is here!  Meet Penelope the Penguin, and her adorable chicks Pippin and Posy.  Penelope is wearing a pretty bonnet, and her chicks have a fluffy hat and a scarf to keep them warm in the winter - and get ready for snowy fun with their sledge and skis! The instructions to make them all included in this bumper pattern!

PATTERN DETAILS:

- Skill Level: Someone who can already crochet, and know basic stitches such as a DC, Increases and Decreases

- Measurements: Penelope is 28cm tall, and her chicks are 14cm tall.

- We used a Chunky Weight Yarn for this pattern, and a 4mm Crochet Hook (the yarn type we used is detailed on the pattern)

- Written in Standard UK Crochet Terms

- The pattern has 12 pages, and helpful photos throughout

- Language - English

This pattern is suitable for someone who can already crochet. If you are a complete beginner to crochet, we recommend learning first with one of our complete beginner kits. Our range of crochet kits for beginners includes giraffes, elephants and bears (with guided video tutorials).  

The wool used in the kit is a quality supersoft yarn, made from 100% acrylic. This kit is suitable for a Vegan. The toys can be spot cleaned, or machine washed if needed on a low temperature, then reshaped whilst damp. We recommend using a hook several sizes smaller than the wool ball band suggests, to ensure the stuffing is not visible through the stitches.
